This role involves supporting others where needed as a general helper. Duties vary, for example: cleaning shop floors and bathrooms, including the yard area of trash and weeds as needed. Driving to pick up parts, driving to take customers home, and picking up as needed. Test-driving customer vehicles to confirm readiness for delivery. Washing and vacuuming vehicles in preparation for delivery to the customer. Performing a quality assurance check before the vehicle is delivered to the customer. Assisting the front office as needed. Assisting shop technicians in repairing vehicles as needed. (Note: tools not required)
Qualifications include: A current CA driver's license in good standing. Automotive mechanical repair skills with at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in the industry. Able to lift 35-50 pounds of dead weight. Basic computer skills, able to type at least 20-30 wpm. Bilingual ability to speak English and Spanish is a plus. Good communication skills are a plus. Able to learn quickly and follow instructions carefully.
