TIRED OF CORPORATE MICROMANAGEMENT? LOVE HEAVY EQUIPMENT?
We are a local, owner-operated business in the Smash My Trash family, and we’re looking for a reliable, hands-on professional who takes pride in operating and maintaining heavy machinery.
This is a unique 50/50 split role: 50% driving heavy-duty compaction trucks and 50% keeping our fleet running at peak performance. If you want autonomy, direct access to the business owners, and a job where no two days are the same, this is for you.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
50% Driving & Operating: Safely navigate and operate our high-powered smash trucks at client locations throughout the I.E. and SGV.
50% Fleet Maintenance: Handle mobile preventative maintenance, minor repairs, hydraulic troubleshooting, and basic electrical fixes outdoors at our storage locations.
Equipment Care: Maintain a clean, organized, and professional cab and truck (we provide the tools and wash stations; you bring the pride of ownership).
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Inland Empire Local: You live in or near the I.E. for an easy daily commute.
Experienced Driver: Clean driving record required. Commercial driving experience or a CDL is a major plus!
Mechanical Skills: Hands-on experience with truck maintenance, hydraulics, basic electrical troubleshooting, and standard shop tools.
Reliable & Self-Motivated: You show up on time, work hard outdoors in all weather conditions, and solve problems independently.
Flexibility: Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends when fleet maintenance is best scheduled.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a big plus!
NOTE: Candidates must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and criminal background check.
