Who You Are:
The Junior Merchandiser will support product allocations and replenishment, analyze business performance, and help execute seasonal merchandising initiatives. This role serves as a key partner in inventory management, and fulfilling store merchandising needs to ensure the right product is available in the right location at the right time. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about luxury retail and product merchandising.
What You’ll Do:
- Support stock allocation and replenishment across stores by style, category, and business need.
- Manage product flow from initial allocation through end-of-life cycle, including replenishment, consolidation, and transfers across stores or channels.
- Execute weekly allocations for new seasonal deliveries, carryover product, and replenishment needs.
- Partner with Logistics and Retail Leadership to manage shipment timing, shipping capacity, in-store delivery priorities, and peak-period product flow.
- Review, analyze, and respond to store product requests and event-related merchandising needs.
- Support execution of the Versace buying strategy during seasonal buying milestones.
- Monitor in-season product performance and recommend actions to maximize revenue and support business priorities.
- Partner with the Global Merchandising team at HQ to communicate regional product needs and opportunities.
- Prepare product training materials and help communicate buying strategy to cross-functional and retail teams.
- Support buying and allocation management for licensed categories, including Fragrances, Watches, and Sunglasses.
You’ll Need to Have:
- Bachelor's degree in business/ fashion merchandising is preferred
- 3-4 years of previous experience in a fast paced, sales-driven environment
- Must possess analytical skills and strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills
- Keen awareness of the customer and brand profile of the business
- Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills for interacting and networking with customers and other departments.
- Ability to work in NYC office 3 /4 days a week.

- Experience working with allocation systems or inventory management tools.

- Confident communication skills and the ability to present product strategy clearly.
In compliance with certain Pay Transparency laws, employers are required to disclose a salary range. The salary for this position will vary based on role requirements, skill set and years of experience.
$70,000-$90,000
