Position: Full Time Evening Lounge Attendant
Schedule: Evenings, Weekends, and Holidays
The Guest Lounge Attendant is responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming hotel guest lounge. This role ensures food and beverage offerings are consistently stocked and presented according to brand standards while providing friendly, attentive service to hotel guests. The ideal candidate is hospitality-driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about exceeding guest expectations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Guest Service:
-Welcome guests warmly and provide exceptional hospitality throughout their visit.
-Answer guest questions regarding lounge amenities, hotel services, local attractions, and dining recommendations.
-Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
-Maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times.
-Recognize Marriott Bonvoy Elite members and provide personalized service whenever possible.
-Food & Beverage Operations
-Set up and replenish breakfast, snacks, evening hors d'oeuvres, desserts, and beverage stations according to service schedules.
-Prepare and serve coffee, tea, espresso beverages, and other non-alcoholic refreshments as required.
-Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation throughout service periods.
-Rotate products using FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices.
-Ensure all food is served in accordance with health and safety regulations.
-Communicate with the culinary team regarding replenishment needs.
Lounge Maintenance:
-Maintain cleanliness of all lounge areas including:
-Dining tables
-Seating areas
-Beverage stations
-Buffet displays
-Coffee machines
-Refrigerators
-Condiment stations
-Remove used dishes and glassware promptly.
-Sanitize high-touch surfaces throughout the shift.
-Ensure lounge furniture and décor remain neat and inviting.
-Perform opening and closing cleaning duties.
Inventory & Organization:
-Stock beverages, snacks, paper goods, and service supplies.
-Monitor inventory levels and notify management of shortages.
-Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries.
-Minimize waste through proper handling and storage.
Safety & Compliance:
-Follow all hotel, local health department, and food safety regulations.
-Maintain ServSafe standards where applicable.
-Follow proper sanitation procedures.
-Report maintenance or safety concerns immediately.
-Adhere to company policies and brand standards.
