Musical Minds Academy is excited to offer an opportunity to join our roster of instructors in the Vista/Northern San Diego County, CA area, best for those looking to inspire young minds through music and movement!
With us, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Earn excellent pay instructing TK-5th students in a group lesson setting at various public schools on introductory rhythmic and melodic lessons using the ukulele in Northern San Diego County area public school sites.
- Guide and manage groups of young preschool to elementary students.
- Develop and exercise effective classroom control techniques.
- Lead your classroom in demonstrating their newfound skills through culminating, end of programming showcase performances.
- Follow our creative lesson plans, while getting the chance to design your own that engage students and establish clear learning goals.
To join our team, we require:
- Reliable transportation.
- Participation in training sessions and staff meetings.
- Consistent communication through email, text, and phone.
- Successful completion of a Livescan DOJ/FBI background check and TB test.
- Become a part of Musical Minds Academy and help shape the next generation of musicians!
Compensation: $50-$55/hour for teaching hours. Training sessions and other non-instructional responsibilities will be paid at $25/hour.
Schedule: Thursdays, 2:30-5:30 P.M. Room for more hours is available, if warranted.
Experience: At least two (2) years of prior teaching experience required.
