Hot Diggity Dog Resort, a boutique full-service pet care resort in Escondido, is hiring a Pet Care Technician for our Doggy Daycare program. If you genuinely love dogs and want to work somewhere that treats both pets and people well, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do:
Supervise small, structured play groups to keep every dog safe, active, and happy
Monitor dog behavior and body language, stepping in early to keep play positive
Feed, water, and administer basic care per each dog's instructions
Keep play areas, suites, and common spaces clean and sanitary
Assist with check-ins, check-outs, and friendly client communication
Support our enrichment (LEEP) program and general daily operations
What We're Looking For:
A true love for dogs and a calm, attentive presence around them
Reliability, strong work ethic, and a team-first attitude
Ability to stay on your feet, lift up to 40 lbs, and work in an active environment
Prior animal care, daycare, or kennel experience is a plus (not required — we train)
Availability including some weekends; must be dependable and punctual
