Larson Ford has been a cornerstone in the Automotive Industry in Ocean County for nearly seven decades. Founded in 1956, our dealership has grown and thrived by building lasting relationships — with our customers, our community, and our team. Our management staff reflects that commitment, with many members who have dedicated the better part of their careers to Larson Ford.
We are now seeking a driven, forward-thinking Finance & Insurance Manager to carry on that legacy. This role opens following the retirement of our beloved F&I Manager who served Larson Ford with distinction for over 20 years — a true testament to the culture and opportunity that define our dealership. We are looking for the right individual to honor that standard and take our F&I department to the next level.
The Opportunity
This is not just a job — it is a career. Larson Ford is a place where talented, committed professionals build something lasting. If you bring energy, integrity, and tenacity to everything you do, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers and our network of lending institutions to structure competitive financing options tailored to each buyer's needs.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with all lending sources, including banks, credit unions, and captive finance companies.
- Present and sell finance and insurance products professionally, ensuring customers fully understand their options.
- Ensure complete and accurate submission of all deal paperwork to lenders in a timely manner.
- Maintain mastery of all dealership management systems (DMS), lender portals, and bank-required software platforms.
- Oversee the F&I process from credit application through funding, maintaining high CSI scores throughout.
- Train and collaborate with sales staff to ensure a seamless transition into the F&I office.
- Drive department profitability while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Compliance & Integrity
A steadfast commitment to regulatory compliance is non-negotiable in this role. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in federal and state consumer protection laws, including the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), FTC regulations, and applicable Red Flag Rules. Maintaining the department's compliance standards is as important as achieving its financial goals.
