The Inn at Sunset Cliffs location directly on the Pacific Ocean, is looking to add a weekday grounds keeper to our staff. General hours will be Thursday-Sunday, more to be added as time goes on. Hours are 9am-5pm or 8am-4pm. This is not a hard job, just requires a dedicated person for the position. Some training provided.
Job Duties;
Daily sweeping of the hotel
Ability to lift 40 lbs
Clean outside walkway railings
take out trash bins throughout the hotel
keep hotel clean
power wash terrace
move flower pots
move furniture
light painting here and there
Plumbing knowledge such as unclogging a drain,etc
Electrical experience. Replace a ceiling fan, lights etc.
troubleshooting hotel issues that arise
replace 5 gallon buckets of cleaning product
monitor watering of plants throughout hotel property
sweep/clean entry way of hotel
assist moving hotel items around property.
move Air Conditioning Units
Qualifications;
Must be a high school graduate
Must be able to work in the US
Must speak some English, some Spanish is helpful but not required.
Must be able to walk, bend, squat, kneel, and often lift 40lbs without any issues
Must be able to read and write in English.
Must have a clean background. No criminal history, Reliable transportation
Previous experience is helpful but not needed. We will show/train you the duties.
Must have proper hygiene
Must have a great attitude towards life. We work on the ocean, it's really mellow.
