💲Accountant – Electrical Contracting Company 💲
San Diego Bay Area Electric is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. We’re an electrical contractor serving the San Diego area with consistent commercial and industrial work. We need someone who can keep our books, payroll, and administrative systems running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting in QuickBooks
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule
- Track and reconcile employee time cards
- Maintain files and records across our cloud-based file server
- Support invoicing, AP/AR, and general office administration
- Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and staff as needed
- Project insurance and Client set up and closeout
Requirements
- Proven experience with QuickBooks
- Payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Comfortable working with cloud-based file storage systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in construction, electrical, or contracting industries a plus
