Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machining processes and techniques, with the ability to operate Mori Seiki Engine Lathe, Bridgeport Mill and perform precision measurements. This role is critical in ensuring the production of high-quality components that meet strict specifications and tolerances.
Duties
Operate lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure accurate part production.
Conduct regular maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance.
Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines for quality control checks.
Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks and lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency.
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely in the machining process.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
Class A Machinist
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing processes.
Ability to read blueprints and technical documents accurately.
Basic math skills for calculations related to machining tasks.
Knowledge of tooling requirements for various machining operations.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity.
