FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Lead and perform manual and semi-automated shot peen operations
- Interpret and apply customer and industry specifications (AMS, BAC, PWA, GE, etc.)
- Perform and approve Almen intensity testing and coverage inspection
- Develop, document, and enforce shot peen technique sheets
- Train and certify operators on equipment, techniques, and requirements
- Design and fabricate masking aids and fixtures
- Interpret engineering drawings and CATIA models to determine processing approach
- Lead maintenance planning and troubleshooting of shot peen equipment
- Ensure compliance with NADCAP and AS9100 requirements
- Monitor production flow, prioritize work, and support throughput goals
- Stop work and escalate issues when quality or specification requirements are not met
- Perform other duties as assigned
Benefits:
- Compensation Range $60,000 - 90,000 (DOE) compensation will vary based on experience

QUALIFICATIONS
Education – High school diploma or equivalent
Experience – Minimum 5 years’ experience in Aerospace
Minimum 5 years' experience Nadcap & AS9100
Minimum 3-5 years' supervisory experience
Preferred 3-5 years' experience blueprint /CATIA
Bilingual, English/Spanish (preferred)
