About The Role
Curely is looking for a Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients. In this role, you’ll ensure a smooth check-in process, manage appointment scheduling, and provide administrative support to our medical team. What You'll Do
- Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments efficiently.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries.
- Maintain patient records and ensure all information is up to date.
- Verify insurance details and process billing transactions.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other staff for seamless patient care.
- Uphold confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with other front desk and clerical duties as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).
- 1-2 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role (medical setting preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, patient-focused attitude with excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus.
Bonus Skills & Experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (or other languages) is a plus.
- Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Previous work in a hospital or clinic setting.
