Bookkeeper / Office Manager Position 06.17.2026
Current full time opening for an office manager at a small established East County contracting business that performs piping construction, pipeline disinfection, and backflow certification / repair.
Job description and Duties.
Process certified payrolls to applicable agencies, process weekly timecards from field employees, manage workman’s comp filing and annual audits, manage state and federal payroll taxes, insurance documents.
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank account reconciliation, payroll reconciliation, coordinate insurance documents requests between broker and customers, contract document package creation, and organization. General office responsibility and organization.
Requirements:
Must be a US citizen or have proper work documentation.
Must have reliable transportation.
Applicants may undergo drug-screen, background check, and a credit check.
Construction industry experience, public works experience.
Must be able to work independently, be an organized individual, have neat handwriting, able to prioritize tasks, plan work flow and keep paperwork and filing in order, have proper telephone manners, and proper spoken English.
Must have professional communication with clients and employees
Must be proficient with QuickBooks 2024, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
