We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Machinist - Mill for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.
In this role, you will operate lathes while ensuring all production meets our rigorous safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate CNC lathes and perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders.
• Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and machine parameters to meet job specifications.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments to optimize performance.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Document production activities and report any deviations or defects.
• Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and supervisory teams to continuously improve machining processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• High school diploma or technical certificate in machining or manufacturing.
• 3+ years of professional experience in a CNC machining environment.
• Proficiency in precision measurement and blueprint reading.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
