Human Resources Generalist
An expanding manufacturing company is looking for a hands-on HR Generalist to partner closely with leaders and team members. This role plays a key part in executing core HR functions while fostering a productive and people-centered workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in administering HR programs such as talent acquisition, benefits, learning & development, performance management, and employee relations
- Support payroll activities, including troubleshooting and responding to employee questions
- Contribute to labor relations efforts, including grievance handling and supporting union agreements
- Promote and enhance employee engagement, recognition, and wellness initiatives
- Participate in employee issue resolution, including investigations and policy guidance
- Provide support for compensation-related activities and ensure regulatory compliance
- Maintain HR systems and help identify opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
- At least 3 years of experience in HR (manufacturing and/or union exposure preferred)
- Familiarity with HRIS and payroll platforms
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational capabilities
