Human Resources Generalist

An expanding manufacturing company is looking for a hands-on HR Generalist to partner closely with leaders and team members. This role plays a key part in executing core HR functions while fostering a productive and people-centered workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in administering HR programs such as talent acquisition, benefits, learning & development, performance management, and employee relations
Support payroll activities, including troubleshooting and responding to employee questions
Contribute to labor relations efforts, including grievance handling and supporting union agreements
Promote and enhance employee engagement, recognition, and wellness initiatives
Participate in employee issue resolution, including investigations and policy guidance
Provide support for compensation-related activities and ensure regulatory compliance
Maintain HR systems and help identify opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
At least 3 years of experience in HR (manufacturing and/or union exposure preferred)
Familiarity with HRIS and payroll platforms
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational capabilities
