Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated Full-Time Overnight Postpartum Doulas to join our team as employees (not independent contractors). This is a committed, full-time position offering 36-40 hours per week of meaningful doula work. You’ll provide overnight support to new families, helping them rest and recover while caring for their newborns.
Shifts are scheduled from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM (9 client-facing hours per shift). The core schedule requires a minimum of three such overnight shifts per week with flexibility, to reach full-time hours (36-40 hours/week total, including admin time).
As an employee, you’ll receive competitive pay, sick pay coverage as required by California law, and a supportive team environment. For the right candidates, we may provide a continuing education stipend after 6 months of employment to either offset ProDoula training costs or bolster employees with additional training. This training will launch or advance your career as a doula. This role is ideal for caregivers passionate about the fourth trimester and those dedicated to doula work, ready to commit to a full-time schedule.
We’re expanding our team and hiring multiple overnight postpartum doulas with both weekday and weekend availability. Our families need support seven nights a week—join our strong, reliable team to ensure consistent coverage across San Diego.
