Your Opportunity:
Reporting to the Head of Product Strategy, the Director, Head of Product Data & Business Analytics Management, leads the analytics and economic intelligence function supporting the firm’s product organization.
This role is responsible for building data frameworks for all products, analytical capabilities, and economic models that inform product strategy, investment decisions, and long-term business growth.
Working closely with Product Heads, the Product Strategy leadership team, and enterprise partners across finance, technology, and data organizations, the Director ensures the firm has a clear, data-driven understanding of product performance, execution metrics, market opportunities, and client behavior across all products (~15 – 20).
The role plays a critical part in translating complex data into actionable insights that guide product strategy, prioritize investments, and strengthen the firm’s competitive position in evolving financial markets.
Key Outcomes
Product Economics & Strategic Modeling
- Established and develop financial and economic models to evaluate all product opportunities and strategic initiatives.
- Analyze revenue potential, funding dynamics, cost structures, and long-term profitability across product lines.
- Support strategic investment decisions and capital allocation across the product portfolio (15 – 20 products) .
Product Performance Analytics
- Define and monitor key product performance indicators including adoption, engagement, revenue contribution, and client behavior.
- Build dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide leadership with clear insights into product performance.
- Identify opportunities to optimize product pricing, features, and client experiences.
Strategic Market & Client Insights
- Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and evolving client needs to inform product strategy.
- Partner with Product Heads to translate insights into actionable product enhancements and roadmap priorities.
- Support evaluation of emerging opportunities and strategic initiatives.
Data Governance & Infrastructure
- Establish consistent data definitions, governance standards, and reporting practices across product teams.
- Partner with enterprise data and technology teams to ensure reliable access to high-quality product data.
- Ensure analytical frameworks align with regulatory and compliance requirements.
Strategic Planning Support
- Provide analytical support for long-range product planning and strategic roadmap development.
- Conduct scenario modeling and forecasting to inform product strategy and investment priorities.
- Support leadership decision-making with structured analysis and insights.
Organizational Enablement
- Build scalable analytical capabilities that support the firm’s evolving product strategy.
- Promote a data-driven culture across product teams and leadership.
- Recruit and develop a high-performing analytics and insights team.
What you have
Required Capabilities / Critical Experience
- 10–12+ years of experience in analytics, strategy, finance, or product economics.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and product performance analytics.
- Experience working with large data sets and enterprise analytical platforms.
- Understanding of financial services, brokerage, banking, or digital asset markets preferred.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear strategic insights for senior leadership.
- Ability to navigate complex organizational environments and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders.
- Highly effective influencing skills, outstanding planning, communications, organizational and judgment skills
- Ability to leverage strategic and analytical capabilities to make sound, timely decisions based on client and field input supporting and maintaining a strong production environment including evaluating risk versus expense versus client experience.
- Leadership and relationship-building skills, including ability to influence and build consensus through experience design, product, technology, marketing, regulatory, and other areas of the firm and all levels of the organization.
- Combination of strategic, practical, and creative thinker; strong “systemic” thinker who can connect all the dots, taking the initiative and resulting capabilities from concept to execution.
