We’re partnered with a top-tier construction GC known for delivering $80M–$200M ground-up multifamily projects—and they’re bringing in APM-level talent with a goal of elevating them into PMs within 12–24 months. This role is open to current Project Engineers looking for promotion to an APM role. Or a current APM that is focused on delivering excellent results and seeking elevation. Projects inside the beltway in VA and DC.
Why this stands out:
- You’re not stuck supporting forever—this is a clear, structured path to PM
- Work on high-rise, complex multifamily projects that actually build your resume
- Get involved early (precon) through delivery, not just execution
- Strong construction backlog = consistent projects, long-term growth, and stability
The role:
You’ll be in the middle of the action—working alongside experienced construction PMs and field leadership, while stepping into real ownership across:
- Subcontractor coordination and buyout
- Budgets, cost control, and forecasting
- RFIs, submittals, and change management
- Client and team meetings
- Supporting field operations on large, active job sites
This is the kind of seat where you accelerate quickly because you’re trusted with more.
Who this fits:
- APMs / Jr PMs with 5+ years in commercial construction
- Experience on multifamily (preferred) or other large ground-up builds
- Someone who wants to step into PM—not wait years for it
- Comfortable owning more, moving faster, and working in a high-performance team
What’s on the table:
- $85K–$115K base + bonus
- 100% covered healthcare (including family)
- 401k match + strong benefits
- 3 weeks PTO + 10 holidays
- Tuition support + ongoing development
- Defined promotion to Project Manager in 1–2 years
