Job Description
NAOVI is seeking a Journeyman Graphic Designer to assist the government with the following task:
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products.
- Utilizes request management tools to provide swift, high quality customer support for communication requests
- Coordinates with UI/UX designer in Knowledge Management, to ensure graphics products provide an engaging and user-friendly experience.
- Create graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products.
- Develop design concepts and implement designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content that will be presented online
- Ensures products conform to all production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances.
- Conducts technical quality checks.
- Manages an approved concept and build in HTML/CSS so it complies with responsive design principles.
- Provides Cartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference Maps.
Required Education And Experience
- Requires BA/BS and 3 years of experience or no degree and 9 years of
- experience.
- TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance required
- Experience with the following:
- Leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products.
- Front-end web design, UI/UX, HTML/CSS.
- Photography and video editing.
- Mentor and trains junior staff.
- Creating graphics products that provide engaging and user-friendly experience.
- Creating graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products.
- Developing design concepts and implementing designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content presented online.
- Ensuring products conform to all production standards, copy-write laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances.
- Conducting technical quality checks.
