Position: Montessori Elementary Classroom Assistant
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00-4:00 PM
Compensation: Annual Salary Range $50,000-$55,000 DOE
Start Date: Summer 2026, with the position continuing into the 2026–2027 academic year. The summer start will include supporting the school’s transition to a new campus and assisting with classroom setup.

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and faith-aligned Montessori Elementary Program Assistant to support our classroom community. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about Montessori education, values a Christ-centered environment, and is committed to fostering both the academic and spiritual growth of children.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Guide in maintaining an engaging, orderly, and nurturing Montessori classroom
- Assist with the preparation and care of the learning environment and materials
- Provide individualized support to students in accordance with Montessori principles
- Help guide students in developing independence, responsibility, and respectful relationships
- Supervise students during classroom work cycles, outdoor time, and transitions
- Collaborate with staff to support a peaceful, productive, and Christ-centered community
Qualifications
- Montessori training required (AMI, AMS, or equivalent) or willing to pursue
- Prior experience working in a Montessori classroom, preferably at the elementary level
- A genuine love for working with children and supporting their development
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Alignment with the school’s Christian values and mission
