POSITION SUMMARY
As a Standing Guard Security Officer, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring an assigned property, conducting regular foot patrols, responding appropriately to disturbances, documenting incidents, and providing professional customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain a professional and highly visible security presence
Patrol and monitor the client’s property on foot
Help deter criminal activity and unauthorized access
Observe and report suspicious activity, security breaches, and safety hazards
Respond appropriately to disturbances and other incidents
Notify supervisors and authorized on-site personnel of important occurrences
Complete clear, detailed, accurate, and timely daily activity and incident reports
Professionally address trespassers and unauthorized individuals according to company procedures
Provide courteous and professional customer service
Follow all post orders, company policies, and supervisor instructions
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years old
Must possess a valid California Guard Card
Must have completed all required security-officer training, including applicable AB 2880 training
Must be available to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to prepare professional and accurate reports
Must maintain a clean and professional appearance
Must be dependable, punctual, alert, and ready to work
At least one year of security experience is preferred

EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
