The Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations for both the bistro and catering divisions. This role ensures high-quality food production, maintains food safety and sanitation standards, manages kitchen staff, controls inventory and costs, and guarantees smooth daily operations in a fast-paced environment.
We are a new Bistro Café scheduled to open between June 1st and June 15th and are seeking skilled, reliable professionals ready to work in a morning and weekday-focused café environment.
Qualifications
• Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or similar leadership role.
• Experience in both restaurant and catering operations is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen best practices.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Some Saturdays and holidays are worked as needed.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in hot and fast-paced kitchen environments.
