All Star Trial Attorneys, APC (dba Core Family Law), a boutique law firm specializing in family law, is seeking an experienced Senior Family Law Attorney. Position is full-time with some flexibility for remote 1-2 days a week.
Candidates need significant experience working as a Senior Family Law Attorney. The ideal candidate has experience litigating in Orange County Superior Court. Familiarity with other Southern California Courts in Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino is a plus. Candidate should be able to manage cases and complete tasks with minimal hand holding. Applicants should be knowledgeable about Family Law protocols and procedures. Seeking highly organized professionals with great attention to detail.
QUALIFICATIONS:
4+ years working as a family law attorney
Significant litigation experience, including first chair trial experience
Experience meeting 30-hour weekly billable requirement
Experience handling: 1) high conflict family law matters including domestic violence cases; and 2) cases involving high asset marital estates and clients or opposing parties with complex compensation structures.
Excellent administrative skills, i.e., highly organized, detail oriented, and capable of properly managing tasks based on their time-sensitive nature.
Excellent written/analytical/oral communication skills
Strong computer skills
Strong work ethic
Supervisory or Managerial experience is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage litigation caseload.
Professional and prompt communication with clientele, opposing counsel, and internal team (i.e., supervisor and paralegals)
Drafting and proofreading litigation documentation including complaints, discovery, motions, and memos, among other things.
Making appearances in court for hearings and trials.
Working with attorneys and other staff throughout the litigation process.
Calendaring litigation deadlines and events.
Data Entry.
Report running and forecasting case movement.
Assisting with administrative duties as needed (electronic filing of court documents, calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, etc).
Billing-related tasks as needed on a regular basis.
