Underground Utility Superintendent – Anaheim, CA

Position:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Superintendent to oversee underground utility construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with hands-on field experience managing crews, schedules, subcontractors, and jobsite safety.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily field operations for underground utility projects
Supervise crews, subcontractors, and equipment on multiple job sites
Coordinate project schedules, manpower, materials, and inspections
Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
Read and interpret plans, specifications, and utility drawings
Maintain communication with project managers, clients, inspectors, and vendors
Conduct safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety standards
Track daily production, field reports, and project progress
Identify and resolve field issues efficiently
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in underground utility construction
Previous experience as a Superintendent or Foreman preferred
Strong knowledge of wet and dry utilities, trenching, grading, and excavation
Ability to read blueprints and utility plans
Strong leadership and communication skills
Experience coordinating crews and managing schedules
Valid California driver’s license
OSHA certifications are a plus
