Job Descriptions: PACKERS: Packages Injection products manually, operates auxiliary equipment and performs quality functions to ensure product meets quality criteria. Follow all work processes implemented in the department, all safety and company guidelines as outlined in employee handbook. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS.....Ensures quality standards are maintained in handling, packaging and finishing of all products packaged. Comply with safety, operating policies, procedures regarding equipment, materials and finished goods. Operate auxiliary equipment: Hot stamp, Milling, Router, Sonic welder, Glue gun, Band Saw and Spin welder etc. Perform Multi-task jobs: Shrink wrap, Wine Buckets, DSPR6 and multiple machines. Ensures correct quantity of product per carton and proper packaging requirements are followed. Labels Cartons, W.I.P., or products accurately. Verifies box and UPC label accuracy with packaged product. Inspects product at each step of secondary and/or packaging process for quality defects. Performs necessary post molding operations and rework as required to adhere to quality standards. Maintains a clean and organized work station. Maintains strict housekeeping guidelines and safety practices at all times. Recognize and report any problems, issues, discrepancies, or questions to Process Technician and/or Supervisor in a timely fashion. Must be able to read and understand instructions for assembly, packaging and operating secondary machinery. Fill out and maintain required data on production related forms. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
Job Descriptions ASSEMBLERS: Operate all equipment relating to the final assembly packaging of finished Sku’s to be sent to the Finished Goods Warehouse. This position demands accuracy in a fast paced environment with attention to detail a must! This may, at times, involve working in the Production WIP assembly area. Follows all work processes implemented in the department and complies with all safety and Company guidelines as outlined in the department manuals. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Operate all secondary operation equipment related to the Finished Packaging Line. Must be able to read and understand instructions for assembly and operating secondary machinery. Monitors all components used in the packaging process for defects. Separate and set aside any defective component. Performs necessary rework as required to adhere to packaging and quality standards. Comply with safety and operating policies and procedures regarding equipment, materials, and finished goods. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment. Recognize and report any problems, issues, discrepancies, or questions to the Area Supervisor in a timely fashion. Assist with the removal of excess product and waste material from the packaging line area. Maintain maximum efficiency in the department. Flexible to work in all Finished Packing Line assembly stations, as well as Costco packaging, WIP Assembly and AFR rework. Must be able to perform satisfactorily in all packaging line duty stations, which may take about 3 months. Must be highly motivated to work in this fast paced team environment.
