How you'll change lives
As a Dietitian U.S. Renal Care, you will be an integral part of an interdisciplinary team, providing excellent care for pients living with kidney disease. U.S. Renal care dietitians work under the supervision of a RDN Regional Manager.
Wh you'll be doing
Pient Nutrition. Using the most current, science-based practices, you will recommend therapeutic diets based on pient nutritional needs, preferences, and changes in trement, in consultion with the pient's physician. You will review lab results and provide approprie educion for nutritional interventions on such topics as fluid and sodium, potassium, and CKD-Mineral and Bone Disorder management. You will also conduct pient assessments and care planning activities, as well as participing in monthly interdisciplinary pient care conferences.
Teamwork. You will collabore with the Medical Director, physician/advanced practice provider, facility administror, social worker, nurse, and pient care technician to maintain positive relionships with area hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, agencies, vendors, and the community.
Safety & Quality. You will help with clinical and operional processes, with a focus on improving pient health and achieving target goals for pient outcomes. You will also help maintain a productive quality assurance program and participe in monthly Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities.
Wh we're looking for
- Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) certificion showing proof of registrion with Commission on Dietetic Registrion (includes Baccalauree or Advanced degree).
- Minimum of one-year experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian.
- Current Dietitian (LD/LDN) license in applicable ste is required unless employed in the ste of AZ, CA, CO, HI, IN, MI, NJ or VA. Ste certificion (Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist) required in CT and NY. License must be maintained as current and in good standing.
- Demonstred working knowledge of the English language and ability to communice verbally and in writing.
- Must have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); proficiency in all company clinical applicions required within 90 days of hire.
- Must meet any practice requirement(s) for the applicable ste.
