The Opportunity, LIS Solution Analyst
The LIS Solution Analyst will play a pivotal role in establishing IT as a stregic business partner th understands core business stregy and can improve processes and operions leveraging technology. This role will be responsible for oversight of the Laborory Informion System (LIS) plform including spanning scoping, design, and build through deployment and ongoing evolution.
The ideal candide should have a comprehensive understanding of Clinical Laborory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) laborory landscape and how it transles into LIS technology. They will partner with customer experience, lab operions, billing, quality and other Subject Mter Experts (SME's), to define solutions th align with desired business outcomes. They will be responsible for developing detailed solution delivery plans th outline the ph to success in alignment with enterprise release timelines. They will oversee LIS improvements and the evolution of technology, ensuring successful production deployment in accordance with Hologic’s enterprise change management process.
Position is based Hologic’s San Diego, CA office and occasional travel.
Responsibilities
- Transle business needs into functional and technical designs, requirements, unit tests, etc., using various tools (i.e., flow diagrams, testing automion, etc.) across technical and non-technical audiences
- Provide business process guidance, technology solutions and on-going operional support in our CLIA reguled clinical diagnostics laborory
- Be a functional and technical subject mter expert (SME) across Laborory applicions
- Design technology solutions, leveraging nive applicion feures first, th are sustainable and scalable for future growth
- Present business partners a range of solution options, identifying whether people, processes, technology, or da are the primary drivers for achieving successful outcomes
- Identify and challenge outded processes, policies, and rules th detract from internal and external user experiences
- Work across business functions to provide comprehensive end-to-end solutions
- Keep up to de with emerging technologies within and beyond the Lab ecosystem
Skills & Experience
- Requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in Laborory informion System (LIS)
- Experience with LIS, SCC Soft strongly preferred
- Experience working in a reguled laborory environment
- Experience and understanding of the Salesforce plform preferred
- Experience in Electronic Medical Records plforms required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowing when to escale issues to leadership
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to participe in code reviews and adhere to development standards
- Ability to understand integrion principles
- Strong consultive and interpersonal skills to build solid business partnerships
- Knowledge of various Project Management approaches (Werfall, Agile, etc.)
- Ability to manage time and workload on multiple projects/initiives; adaptable to shifting priorities
- Ability to work well in a team environment with strong communicion, collaborion, and active listening skills
- Strong organizional skills and process-oriented mindset

The annualized base salary range for this role is $115,200 to $180,100 and is bonus eligible. Final compension packages will ultimely depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, educion, business needs and market demand.
