Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue is urgently looking for committed foster homes for two dogs who need safe, stable placement ASAP: King Jagger III and Hustle.
We are a fully foster-based rescue, which means we do not have a facility. When dogs need to move, we depend on fosters to step up so they have somewhere safe to go.
🐶 KING JAGGER III
Cocker Spaniel Mix | Young Male
King Jagger III is a sweet dog who urgently needs a better-suited foster home. He was recently placed in a home with a resident small dog, but the intro did not go well and the home is not the right long-term fit.
King needs:
A calm, structured foster home
Preferably no small dogs
A foster who can keep food, treats, and toys separate from other animals
Someone able to monitor him closely and give him a safe place to decompress
He has recently had some stress-related stomach upset, likely from the move and dog conflict, so he needs a foster who can provide consistency, patience, and a quiet environment while he settles.
🐾 HUSTLE
American Bulldog Mix | Male
Hustle is also urgently looking for a new foster home. No urgent medical care was needed, but the situation showed that Hustle needs a home where he can be managed safely around food and other dogs.
Hustle needs:
A dog-savvy foster
A home where he can be separated during meals
Clear structure around food, treats, toys, and high-value items
Ideally a home with no other dogs, or a foster very experienced with slow management and separation
Hustle is not a bad dog — he needs the right environment, clear boundaries, and someone who understands resource guarding and decompression.

This is not a job, but foster homes may be eligible for compensation depending on the dog’s needs and placement.

Must be 21+
Must already have full approval from landlord, roommates, family, etc.
Must be able to attend adoption events and supply pickups at Petco in West Hollywood every other Saturday
Must be able to transport the dog to/from vet appointments as needed
Must commit to at least 4 weeks of fostering
Short-term fosters are still needed too — even a few days can save a life.
