Plantopia – Indoor Plant Service Technician

Plantopia is a leading indoor plant service company in the San Diego area, providing beautiful, living plant designs and maintenance for both commercial and residential clients.
We are looking for friendly, detail-oriented individuals with strong communication skills who enjoy working with plants and delivering excellent customer service.
Position Summary
As an Indoor Plant Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining interior plants at high-end homes and corporate offices. Daily duties include driving a service route (5–8+ stops per day), assessing plant health and appearance, watering, pruning, fertilizing, pest control, cleaning leaves, and replacing plants as needed.
You will begin each day by organizing your vehicle, gathering materials from nurseries or our warehouse, and following your assigned route. This role requires independence, reliability, and consistent communication with clients and dispatch/Office.
Compensation
$20–$25.00+ per hour, depending on experience
Training provided for the right candidate

Mileage reimbursement (if using personal vehicle)
Company vehicle available for qualified drivers
Paid holidays (full-time employees only 30+ hours)
Requirements
Friendly, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
Strong communication and customer service skills
Good time management and ability to work independently
Ability to follow client instructions and respond to messages within 30 minutes
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation (to start)
Ability to navigate routes efficiently
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, squatting, and climbing ladders
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Basic indoor plant care experience preferred (training available)
High school diploma preferred
Fluent in reading, writing, and communicating in English
Schedule
Part-time and full-time positions available
Service areas include San Diego and North County
