About the position
Audible is seeking a driven and analytically rigorous finance professional to\njoin the Strategic Finance team supporting the Product Organization. In this\nrole, you will serve as a core finance partner on cross-functional initiatives,\nsupporting the end-to-end financial modeling that quantifies the full P&L impact\nof new product and feature investments. You will also play a key role in Long\nRange Planning (LRP) and in supporting strategic frameworks that accelerate\nexecutive decision-making and identify gap-closer opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Support the financial modeling and analysis for cross-functional initiatives,\nbuilding detailed models that capture P&L impacts (revenue, cost, margin) with\nguidance on complex trade-offs to inform investment decisions
- Contribute to the annual and ongoing Long-Range Planning process, developing\nprojections, identifying key assumptions and risks, and pressure-testing\nscenarios
- Identify opportunities for new analytical approaches and contribute ideas that\nimprove decision-making quality; help quantify gap-closer initiatives when\nperformance diverges from plan
- Build, maintain, and continuously improve detailed financial models that size\nrevenue opportunities, evaluate trade-offs, and forecast KPI outcomes for new\nproducts, features, and go-to-market strategies
- Partner effectively with Product, Growth, and cross-functional stakeholders,\nbuilding relationships and understanding their analytical needs
- Summarize analyses into clear, structured insights for team leadership and\nstakeholders present findings and recommendations to senior leaders across\nAudible and Amazon
- Build expertise in member acquisition, retention, and engagement economics and\nhow product decisions impact the business model
- Identify and implement improvements to your own analytical workflows and\npartner with data/BI teams to optimize recurring reporting processes for your\nteam
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- 3+ years of professional experience in strategic finance, financial planning &\nanalysis, investment banking, management consulting, or a comparable analytical\nrole
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with financial systems such a Cognos\nTM1 or Hyperion
- Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., LLMs, copilots) to accelerate financial\nanalysis, modeling, or reporting workflows
