- Accounting Consultant needed to perform the below Job Duties:
- Maintain an effective system of internal controls, ensuring compliance with Corporate GAAP.
- Preparation of financial statements as per GAAP.
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
- Maintain journal entries and all general ledgers and ensure reconciliation of all statements as per GAAP.
- Develop various systems to improve efficiency of accounting process.
- Apply principles of accounting and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, profit, loss and income statements.
- The objective of general purpose financials report is to provide financial information about the reporting entity that is useful to the investors.
- As soon as the factual financial transactions occurs, the same is recognized in the books into respective general ledger through journal entries.
- Review various accounts, quarterly returns and subsidiary accounts of the company to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and practices.
- Analyze and appraise financial information including journal entries, general ledger such as inventory, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Analyze past and present financial operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, and obligations incurred to project future revenues and expenses and methods to improve revenues.
- Provide periodic budgetary guidance to clients for their business
- Manage and analyze expenses and profits. Develop a detailed budget plan that outlines and limits client weekly expenditures and maximizes revenues.
- Utilize the knowledge of Federal, State and local tax compliance regulations while filing tax returns.
- Collect and collate information from clients’ financial statements into tax software systems and review information with tax returns prepared on software systems.
- The accounting records are basis to prepare the tax return. Depending on the level of gross receipts and assets, the balance sheetinformation is reported in the tax return.
- Prepare sales tax returns using aggregate information and gross data from gross receipts, tax receipts, tax returns from clients.
- Process various clients' payrolls.
- Handle appropriate documentation, adequate testing & reporting on financial control.
Review documents relating to IRS State Agencies on grievances or queries arising from audit reports.
Bachelor’s degree Required in Finance or Accounting .
