Retirement boring you? Need to walk to keep your body in shape?
This job requires going door to door, inviting people to sign up to be on a notification list, that in an emergency or disaster, a safety team member would check on each family. There is no cost. Get name, phone number and email address.
Once they sign up, ask if they are really interested in disaster preparedness and being trained, they can join the Resilience Club for $95 per year, attend meetings, get training, get to know other neighbors that also care about getting prepared. Our volunteer safety teams are recruited from members of the club. You sign them up using a secure web page on your phone.
You pick the area and the hours worked. You will be trained on what to say, and how to explain the benefits of joining the club.
We pay $50 per Resilience Club sign up.
