Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and efficient handling of shipping and receiving operations, supporting our warehouse distribution processes, and maintaining seamless order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will bring warehouse management experience, technical proficiency with shipping systems, and a strong work ethic to support our operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and process outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in packaging and documentation
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders using warehouse management systems
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely for load and unload activities
Manage order picking and packing processes to meet customer specifications and delivery deadlines
Maintain accurate inventory records within warehouse management systems
Assist with stock replenishment, stocking, and organization within the warehouse environment
Support shipping & receiving activities by coordinating with carriers and tracking shipments for timely delivery
Utilize basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during order fulfillment
Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all warehouse operations
Requirements:
Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes
Hands-on experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks
Experience with shipping & receiving procedures in an e-commerce or distribution setting
Ability to perform order picking & packing efficiently while maintaining accuracy
Basic math skills for inventory counting and measurement tasks
Strong understanding of stock management, order fulfillment, and packaging standards
Valid certification for forklift operation is preferred but not mandatory
