Compensation: Tree Worker-Groundsman $22-26/hour *Depending on experience

ALL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE THEIR OWN VEHICLE TO GET TO AND FROM JOB SITES. THERE IS NO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION AVAILABLE AROUND WORK SITES, AND COMPANY DOES NOT PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION FOR WORKERS TO JOBSITES.
Tree Worker
Job overview:
As a groundsman, you will support the tree care operations from the ground level. You will assist the Tree climbers by preparing equipment, maintaining the site, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Your role is crucial to the overall success of the tree care team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Tree Climbers with equipment setup and breakdown.
- Ensure the site is safe and clear of hazards.
- Operate and maintain ground-level equipment such as chippers and chainsaws.
- Collect and dispose of tree debris and waste.
- Communicate effectively with the team to coordinate tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience in tree maintenance or related field.
- Ability to operate ground-level tree care equipment.
- Knowledge of tree care practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices and equipment preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus!
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- A valid driver’s license and clean DMV record is preferred so candidates can drive company vehicles.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm, No weekends

Operario de trabajos forestales
Descripción del trabajo:
Como operario de mantenimiento de áreas verdes, apoyarás las operaciones de cuidado de árboles desde el nivel del suelo. Asistirás a los trepadores de árboles preparando el equipo, manteniendo el sitio y asegurando que todas las tareas se completen de manera eficiente y segura. Tu papel es crucial para el éxito general del equipo de cuidado de árboles.
Responsabilidades:
- Ayudar a los escaladores de árboles con el montaje y desmontaje del equipo.
- Asegurarse de que el sitio esté seguro y libre de peligros.
- Operar y mantener equipos a nivel del suelo, como trituradores y motosierras.
- Recoger y desechar los desechos y residuos de los árboles.
- Comunicarse de manera efectiva con el equipo para coordinar las tareas.
- Seguir todos los protocolos y pautas de seguridad para garantizar un entorno de trabajo seguro.
Calificaciones:
- Experiencia en mantenimiento de árboles o en un campo relacionado.
- Capacidad para operar equipos de cuidado de árboles a nivel del suelo.
- Conocimiento de las prácticas y procedimientos de cuidado de árboles.
- Se prefiere familiaridad con las prácticas y equipos de mantenimiento de paisajes.
- ¡Bilingüe en español e inglés es un plus!
- Excelentes habilidades de trabajo en equipo y comunicación.
- Compromiso con la seguridad y atención al detalle.
- Se prefiere tener licencia de conducir válida y un historial limpio en el DMV para que los candidatos puedan conducir vehículos de la empresa.
Horario de trabajo: Lunes a viernes de 7:30 a.m. a 4 p.m., sin fines de semana.
