LHH is partnering with a high-growth, innovation-driven manufacturing organization to hire a VP of Operations to oversee plant operations and drive performance across a large-scale production environment. This individual will play a critical role in strengthening leadership capability, optimizing systems and processes, and delivering on key operational and financial targets.
Our client offers a competitive benefits package (including 100% paid medical premiums) and a strong bonus structure. The base compensation for this role is $200K-$250K, depending on experience (no flexibility above this range).
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead all site-level operations, overseeing multiple functional areas including production, continuous improvement, safety, quality, and maintenance
• Develop and execute operational strategies to achieve production and profitability targets
• Manage and develop a team of senior leaders, including Directors and functional Managers
• Drive alignment across cross-functional teams and establish clear ownership of priorities and initiatives
• Identify and resolve gaps in processes, accountability, and communication across the organization
• Partner with Finance and executive leadership to review site performance and contribute to financial discussions
• Enhance operational systems, processes, and efficiencies as the organization continues to scale and mature
• Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance and accountability at all levels
• Maintain a visible, hands-on leadership presence within the operation
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational stability, efficiency, and output
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or plant leadership roles
• Proven experience leading leaders (Directors/Managers) within a complex operational environment
• Demonstrated success operating at scale within high-volume or fast-paced production settings
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence and drive accountability across teams
• Experience building and executing strategies tied to operational and financial performance
• Solid financial acumen with the ability to interpret and speak to business performance metrics
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to balance strategic thinking and execution
• Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, evolving environment
Preferred:
• Experience in consumer product manufacturing
• Background in high-volume or continuous production environments
• Experience driving organizational or cultural improvements within operations teams
• Exposure to safety programs and operational compliance initiatives
