We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Vice President of Human Resources to join our organization. This key executive will oversee the development and execution of HR strategies in support of our business goals, while driving organizational growth, talent management, and employee engagement. As the HR leader, you will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the leadership team to align human resources practices with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals, business needs, and market trends. Lead HR initiatives that support both operational and strategic objectives, driving overall business success.
- Oversee recruitment, retention, and workforce planning.
- Lead efforts to attract top talent for specialized roles, ensuring recruitment strategies are effective in sourcing candidates. Work closely with hiring managers to improve recruitment processes for hard-to-fill roles.
- Work to foster a culture of continuous improvement, developing strategies for employee engagement, training, and development. Collaborate with department leaders to enhance organizational efficiency.
- Maintain strong relationships with employees at all levels, addressing employee concerns, building trust, and ensuring a positive work environment. Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on complex HR issues.
- Provide oversight and recommendations on compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance within the market and industry standards.
- Ensure smooth onboarding processes led by the onboarding coordinator, while overseeing HRIS data entry and administration support for accurate record-keeping and reporting.
- Regularly engage with the board of directors to provide HR updates, insights on workforce trends, and recommendations for talent strategies to support company growth and change.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in a senior HR leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse HR team in a growing and evolving organization. Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior leaders and key stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate business fluctuations and rapidly changing workforce needs while managing periods of growth and contraction.
- Ability to balance long-term strategic HR initiatives with day-to-day operational HR needs, and to align human resources programs with the overall business vision.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in board-level interaction and executive team collaboration.
