Job Overview
Use knowledge of, and experience with, developing, testing, and deploying applications, ensuring seamless UAT and code deployment to production, implementing front-end solutions
Responsibilities
- Use knowledge of, and experience with, developing, testing, and deploying applications
- Ensuring seamless UAT and code deployment to production, implementing front-end solutions using JavaScript and SAP Fiori, utilizing ABAP for back-end development in SAP environments
- Designing and securing APIs, focusing on robust API development and security practices, developing and implementing governance for API’s
- Supporting cloud-based SAP systems, including functional support for supply chain and logistics business functions.
- Managing application life cycle, including incidents, problems, and change management
- Implementing security controls based on NIST and ISO27001 frameworks
- SAP application and hardware migration to the Cloud environment,
- Identifying and mitigating application security risks using countermeasures,
- Collaborating with development teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle,
- Configuring and deploying applications in complex environments,
- Supporting security in DevOps processes, communicating security and risk concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and enterprise portfolio management products such as LeanIX to shape system design and application architecture
- Ensuring that the project meets security thereby mitigating information security risks
- Develop and oversee the implementation of information security procedures, policies, and technical controls
- Design and implement effective security controls to identify vulnerabilities and safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructures
- Monitor and respond to computer security breaches, viruses, and intrusions, and conduct investigations. When needed, oversee the assessment of information security systems.
- Work with Cybersecurity Framework based on NIST or ISO27001, risk assessment, and technical control assessment.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and processes to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of IT assets (information, data, and IT services) within the organization.
- Coordinate vulnerability assessments or analyses of information security systems.
- Regularly report on the status on compliance, security incidents, and risks to the security officer and Senior IT Management. Investigate information security breaches to identify vulnerabilities and assess the damage. Identify potential vulnerabilities in services and applications. Review security assessments for computing environments to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulations. Assess threats, develop meaningful security measures, and test their effectiveness.
- Oversee the development of plans to safeguard computer files against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure, and to meet emergency data processing needs.
- Support business and corporate users with classification of data. Assist in risk assessment and analysis and control the implementation of risk control/minimization measures. Support business-specific risk management in information and cybersecurity-related topics.
- Problem solving skills to troubleshoot security and network problems. Implement awareness measures and support global awareness campaigns. Assess local laws or regulations related to information security.
- Develop information security standards and best practices. Identify and assess potential security risks associated with Cloud, including data breaches, unauthorized access, and compliance issues. Implement robust data security controls, including data encryption, access controls, and data loss prevention (DLP) measures. Implement cloud security monitoring and logging capabilities to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Provide technical guidance to other personnel. Recommend changes to improve the security posture of computers or information systems
Qualifikationen
Qualifications
- Requires a Master’s (or foreign equivalent) in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus three (3) years of experience evidencing demonstrable ability to perform the stated job duties.
- In lieu of a Master’s plus three (3) years of experience, will accept a Bachelor's plus five (5) years of experience.
- Must be available 24-7 in case of cyber security incident or attack on company assets.
- New hires subject to drug and background check. Five percent (5%) or less domestic and international travel to various unanticipated locations for meetings and project discussions.
