Markgraf Consulting is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide day-to-day internal technical support for end users, fulfill routine access and provisioning requests, and perform simple website updates in WordPress using Divi. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, service-oriented, technically capable, and comfortable handling a mix of user support, account administration, and low-risk website content edits within established standards.
The IT Support Technician will support internal users by resolving routine technical issues, setting up and maintaining user access, documenting work clearly, and escalating more complex matters when needed. This position also supports basic website maintenance activities such as text changes, image swaps, page formatting, and other simple updates in an existing WordPress/Divi environment.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Respond to internal support requests submitted through the ticketing system, email, chat, or phone.
Troubleshoot and resolve routine end-user issues involving hardware, software, printers, browsers, email, and general workstation support.
Fulfill approved access control and provisioning requests in accordance with company procedures.
Perform routine account administration tasks such as password resets, MFA support, shared mailbox updates, distribution list changes, and basic file or folder permission changes.
Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including account setup, equipment preparation, and access updates.
Configure, deploy, and support end-user devices and standard business applications.
Maintain accurate ticket notes, support documentation, and internal knowledge materials.
Escalate issues that fall outside standard procedures or require senior technical review.
Perform simple website edits in WordPress and Divi, including content updates, image replacements, page formatting changes, link updates, and menu updates.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure website updates are accurate, timely, and consistent with company standards.
Assist with IT asset tracking, inventory tasks, and general internal IT operations support.
Follow established IT, security, and change management practices.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate degree, technical training, or relevant certifications preferred.
1–3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, or a similar internal support role preferred.
Experience working with user account provisioning, access requests, and ticket-based support processes preferred.
Basic Experience With WordPress And Divi Preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.

This role includes simple website maintenance only, such as:
Updating page text
Swapping images
Adjusting layouts in Divi within approved templates
Updating links, menus, and formatting

- Work Location and Schedule
This role is based in Federal Way, Washington and follows a hybrid schedule, with an expectation of three days per week in the office and the remainder worked remotely, based on business needs. Candidates should be able to support regular on-site presence in the Seattle/Tacoma region.
We understand that some candidates may be balancing school commitments, and we are willing to provide reasonable flexibility around class schedules, provided business needs and core responsibilities are met.
