Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
(1) A High School Diploma or GED;
(2) Currently matriculated in a two‐year or four‐year nursing program that leads to a Registered Nursing (RN) license;
(3) First year of nursing school clinical coursework completed;
(4) Ability to co‐enroll in a UHS‐approved, college‐credit‐granting summer externship course
Preferred:
(1) Previous or current employment at UHS;
(2) Participation in the UHS EIP Program;
(3) Previous clinical experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting;
(4) Minimum 3.0 GPA in nursing school

- The work environment involves moderate risks or discomforts that require special safety precautions; e.g., exposure to contagious diseases. Employees may be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, gowns, gloves, or shields.
