Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Position Summary
Summary:
The Senior Radiation Therapist and Program Educator provides the department with high quality radiation treatments for our patients while maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy, maintains a solid working environment among co -therapists and assists in assuring proper coverage is available to cover the patient load per day. The Senior Radiation Therapist and Program Educator Works closely with the directors of the Radiation Therapy program at Nassau Community College and plays an important role in the determining future candidates in the program as well as educating the current students whom rotate through our facility.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Education Required
• Must complete in-house orientation program
• Graduate of an Accredited Radiation Oncology Program/A.A.S.
Experience And Skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Speaks, reads and writes English
• Will train recent graduates.
• Minimum of seven+ years Radiation Therapy experience preferred.
• Experience in a leadership capacity a plus but not required.
License/Certifications
• Current New York State License
• ARRT
• BLS
