OVERVIEW:
Bernardo Fashions, a leading outerwear brand, is seeking a highly creative and strategic Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager with a strong fashion point of view and elevated aesthetic sensibility.
This role will be instrumental in redefining and growing our social presence—driving both brand relevance and measurable business impact. We are looking for someone who not only understands the current social landscape, but can translate fashion trends, styling, and storytelling into compelling, high-performing content.
This individual will lead the execution of social strategy, influencer partnerships, and content direction, with a clear focus on increasing engagement, growing our audience, and driving DTC revenue.
Reports to: Marketing Director
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Social Strategy & Growth
- Partner with the Marketing Director to develop and execute a comprehensive social strategy, with a primary focus on Instagram and TikTok.
- Own and drive follower growth, engagement, and overall channel performance, with clear KPIs
- Identify opportunities to elevate the brand’s voice, relevance, and positioning within the fashion landscape
- Monitor trends and proactively translate them into brand-right, high-impact content
Creative Direction & Content:
- Lead content ideation and execution with a strong emphasis on visual storytelling, styling, and elevated brand aesthetic
- Develop content that feels editorial, modern, and scroll-stopping—not just product-focused
- Oversee and create high-quality content (photo + video), including Reels/TikTok, styling videos, and on-the-go/lifestyle content
- Ensure consistency and evolution of the brand’s visual identity across all platforms
Community & Engagement:
- Actively manage and grow the Bernardo community across platforms
- Create opportunities for conversation, interaction, and brand affinity
- Identify and engage with customers, creators, and brand advocates
Influencer Marketing:
- Develop and execute a strategic influencer program aligned with brand positioning and growth goals
- Identify and build relationships with relevant, fashion-forward creators (micro to mid-tier focus)
- Lead campaign execution from outreach through content delivery and performance analysis
- Continuously evaluate partnerships based on performance, brand alignment, and ROI
- Experience with LTK (RewardStyle) is a plus
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 3–5+ years of experience in social media and influencer marketing within fashion or lifestyle brand
- Strong fashion eye and aesthetic sensibility with an understanding of styling, trends, and visual storytelling
- Proven ability to grow social channels and increase engagement
- Deep understanding of Instagram and TikTok, including content formats, algorithms, and best practices
- Strong content creation skills (photo/video direction and execution)
- Excellent copywriting skills with a distinct brand voice
- Highly organized, proactive, and collaborative
Must be able to work from the NYC Corporate Office 5 day a week.
Salary $70,000-$75,000
