Sr. SaaS Application Specialist with ChromeOS, Windows and Linux expertise to design and maintain clients IT application systems

Type: Permanent/FTE

Location: Hybrid (Oakville, ON)

Responsibilities:

Owns design, planning, execution and testing for projects, enhancements and break/fix issues.
End-to-end responsibility for designing, implementation and maintaining of application lifecycle.
Design, configure, implement and maintain applications and service requirements while researching and establishing best practices.
Lead and/or participate in projects as a technical subject matter expert.
Analyzing new functionality in application releases to determine how it should be used.
Plan, coordinate and test upgrades for enterprise applications, recommending changes for improvement as needed while ensuring systems will operate correctly in current and future environments.
Work closely with business owners in order to understand business needs and manage expectations of users being supported.
Create and maintain SOP's for application portfolio including other technical documentation to be used by internal client technical and non-technical teams.
Write and maintain automation scripts and leverage configuration management to increase system efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintain application monitoring / alerting capability.
Maintain knowledge of docker containers in a production environment.
Management of global Active Directory infrastructure including patching and general maintenance.
Manage Google Workspace within client's corporate system and service environment.
Experience managing Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution's.
Zero Trust Architecture management.

Must Haves:

5 - 8 years experience with Cloud Platforms (platform components, assembling applications, and run-time architecture).
Advanced knowledge of ChromeOS, Windows and Linux OS installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Experience evaluating, selecting, and implementing AI-driven solutions and automations to improve efficiency and productivity.
Understanding of machine learning concepts and their application in business processes.
Ability to integrate AI tools with existing IT application systems.
Advanced knowledge of SSO methodologies (SAML & LDAPS).
Strong programming/scripting knowledge - Powershell, Python, Bash, etc.
Expert in managing and supporting Linux-based environments.
Experience with cloud computing platforms including Google Cloud, AWS, and Microsoft Azure.
Experience with Zero Trust Architecture.
Strong technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
Docker, Active Directory, Google Workspace
Experience with MDM
