Compensation
Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Position Summary
Summary:
The Critical Care RN Fellow completes a 3 week didactic program combined with a nine week preceptorship practicum that culminates in the individual RN attaining the knowledge and skill to provide competent, comprehensive nursing care to the critical care patient population. The Critical care RN Fellow will meet the expectations of the RN competencies during the Program and will perform tasks independently after competency has been demonstrated and documented by the preceptor. Until completion of the Fellowship Program, delivery of comprehensive primary care by the Critical Care RN Fellow requires the oversight of an assigned preceptor.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Education Required
• Must complete in-house orientation program
• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Professional Nursing.
• Must successfully complete internal Nursing Orientation program
Experience And Skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Speaks, reads and writes English
• Minimum 1 year RN experience
• Critical care, Med/Surg/Tele experience preferred
• Clinical experience and/or skills relevant to the assigned area of practice.
License/Certifications
• BLS
• ACLS
• Registered Professional Nurse
