What You'll Do As a Senior Outbound Marketing Specialist, you will work with external partners and the internal Demand Generation team to drive leads, and ultimately revenue, by planning, executing, and optimizing outbound marketing campaigns. You will help to identify target audiences of potential customers who would be a good fit for When I Work, and help design programs to market to and acquire those audiences. You will work closely with the Sales team to coordinate human and automated efforts in order to most effectively reach target buyers. In this role you will:
- Perform market research to identify potential When I Work customers
- Use a variety of methods to build quality target audience lists for marketing and sales outreach
- Work closely with the Sales and Creative teams to help design personalized materials that align to the specific value proposition of When I Work among target audiences
- Plan and execute multi-channel marketing programs in order to drive awareness, consideration, quality leads, and ultimately revenue among target audiences
- Make daily, weekly, and monthly optimizations of marketing programs including evaluation of channel performance, messaging, and ad creative
- Continue to expand your knowledge and skillsets in your areas of responsibility and others
- Stay informed on trends and changes in the SaaS marketing space
Who You AreYou are a highly curious and inquisitive marketing professional eager to put your SaaS marketing experience to use at a customer-centric and mission-driven company. You have a passion for continually working to improve performance of marketing efforts, and are never satisfied with simply maintaining the status quo. You enjoy digging into the story the data is telling with a knack for coming up with creative ideas to optimize and increase performance.
Experience and Skills Needed- 5+ years foundational marketing experience with at least 2 years experience managing outbound marketing campaigns in an in-house or agency role
- Strong proficiency and understanding of email marketing, display advertising, and content marketing in a B2B environment
- Deep understanding of B2B customer behavior and funnel dynamics, including experience driving qualified leads to a Sales pipeline
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills; ability to analyze and interpret data
- Experience sourcing your own contact lists using online tools such as ZoomInfo or Apollo.io
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced Excel knowledge, including pivot tables
What Would be Awesome to Have- Experience at a startup or in a growth-driven atmosphere
- SQL familiarity - expertise is not required
- Experience marketing software with a self-service purchase model
What's In It For YouAt When I Work, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. Actual base pay will depend on your job-related skills, qualifications, experience, and location, and other factors. For Minnesota based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is between $85,000 - 95,000 USD. Other benefits include:
