**Solder Technician – Cable & Wire Harness Assembly (Vista)**
**Pay:** $21/hr DOE
**Employment Type:** Contract to Hire
**Location:** Vista, CA
We’re hiring an experienced Solder Technician to assemble cable and wire harness products. Qualified candidates will have strong hand-soldering skills, experience with cables, wires, and connectors, and the ability to follow assembly drawings and wiring diagrams with minimal supervision.
**Responsibilities:**
- Hand-solder wires, terminals, connectors, and small electronic components.
- Crimp, strip, tin, and splice wires and cables using hand tools and equipment.
- Inspect solder joints and cable assemblies for compliance with IPC workmanship standards.
- Follow production travelers, bills of materials (BOMs), wiring diagrams, and detailed assembly instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety guidelines.
**Qualifications:**
- At least 1 year of recent soldering and cable/wire harness assembly experience.
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly documentation.
- Proficiency with crimpers, wire strippers, tweezers, soldering irons, and torque tools preferred.
- Knowledge of IPC-610 or IPC-620 is a strong plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
