Propósito del puesto
Mantener y reparar las superficies del edificio, los muebles, las habitaciones y los equipos en todas las instalaciones del hotel, como parte de su esfuerzo continuo por brindar un excelente servicio a los huéspedes.
Responsabilidades y funciones
- Presentarse a tiempo y con el uniforme adecuado.
- Revisar las habitaciones V.I.P. para determinar si necesitan retoques.
- Aplicar pintura, tintes, barniz, esmalte y otros acabados en las paredes, los techos y los muebles de la propiedad.
- Utilizar eficazmente brochas, rociadores de pintura y rodillos.
- Mantener e igualar los tonos de pintura correspondientes a cada área.
- Limpiar y guardar la pintura, las herramientas y los equipos en sus áreas designadas.
- Utilizar el equipo adecuado, llevar el equipo de protección personal correspondiente y seguir los procedimientos correctos para levantar objetos y evitar lesiones.
- Limpiar los desagües de los lavabos y las tinas, e informar si alguno está obstruido.
- Informar al supervisor cuando las habitaciones estén terminadas y listas.
Requisitos físicos – Pintor de hotel
- Capacidad para levantar y transportar materiales y equipo de hasta 50 libras.
- Permanecer de pie y caminar durante períodos prolongados.
- Subir y bajar escaleras y utilizar escaleras de mano de forma segura.
- Agacharse, arrodillarse
- Trabajar con los brazos elevados para pintar techos y áreas altas.
- Realizar movimientos repetitivos con las manos y los brazos al utilizar brochas, rodillos y otras herramientas.
- Realizar trabajos en interiores y exteriores, bajo distintas condiciones de temperatura.
-Capacidad para ver y distinguir colores, escuchar indicaciones y alertas, detectar olores y utilizar el sentido del tacto al manipular herramientas y materiales.
Tener disponibilidad para trabajar fines de semana y días festivos. Nuestro hotel opera los 365 días del año.

Purpose of the position.
Maintain and repair surfaces of building, furniture, rooms and equipment throughout the facility in the hotel in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.
Responsibilities & duties
- Be on time and in proper uniform.
- Check V.I.P. rooms to see if they need any touch-ups.
- Able to apply paint, stains, varnish, enamel, etc. to property walls, ceilings, and furniture.
- Able to effectively use brushes, sprayers, or rollers.
- Responsible for maintaining and matching shades of paint for particular areas.
- Clean up and store paint, tools, and equipment in their designated areas.
- Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, and follow correct lifting procedures to avoid injury.
- Clean sink and tub drains, and report if any are clogged.
- Report to the supervisor when rooms are complete and ready
Physical Requirements – Hotel Painter
- Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Climb up and down stairs and use ladders safely.
- Bend and kneel.
- Work with arms raised to paint ceilings and high areas.
- Perform repetitive hand and arm movements when using brushes, rollers, and other tools.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures.
-Ability to see and distinguish colors, hear instructions and alerts, detect odors, and use the sense of touch when handling tools and materials.
Available to work weekends and holidays. Our hotel operates 365 days a year.
Work hours: 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
