NEIGHBORHOOD ROUTE ASSISTANT — SUNDAYS
Company vehicle provided. No personal vehicle required for route work.
Bin Butlers is hiring a reliable Sunday Route Assistant to service residential customers throughout Orange County.
This is a recurring, route-based position helping homeowners with trash day by rolling their trash, recycling, and organic bins to the curb and following customer-specific placement instructions.
We are looking for someone dependable who wants consistent Sunday work and is interested in a long-term opportunity with a growing company.
This is not a one-time gig. Our customers rely on us every week, so reliability and consistency are extremely important.
COMPENSATION
$65 per completed Sunday route
Paid daily via Venmo
Current Sunday route typically takes approximately 3 hours
Effective compensation is approximately $21–$22 per hour, depending on traffic, pace, and route efficiency
Compensation is based on completion of the assigned route and is not paid on an hourly basis
Route pay may increase as the workload and route size materially increase
Additional route days may become available as Bin Butlers continues to grow

COMPANY VEHICLE PROVIDED
A company vehicle is provided for the route, so you will not need to use your personal vehicle for route work.
Bin Butlers covers the vehicle-related costs, including:
Vehicle mileage and depreciation
Charging/fuel
Maintenance and repairs
Normal vehicle wear and tear
Commercial vehicle expenses
The Route Assistant is responsible for keeping the Company vehicle clean, organized, and in good condition while it is in their possession.
The vehicle must be returned after the route unless otherwise approved by management.
Company-provided Bin Butlers shirt must be worn while servicing customers.
Preference may be given to applicants who live reasonably close to Irvine, since the Company vehicle is picked up and returned there.
SCHEDULE
Sunday availability is required.
Typical Sunday route window: approximately 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
The current Sunday route generally takes about 3 hours to complete, though actual completion time may vary depending on traffic, customer access, and route conditions.
Route Assistants are expected to begin the assigned route on time unless another start time has been approved by management.
This position currently consists of one recurring Sunday route per week.
As Bin Butlers continues to grow, opportunities for additional route days may become available.
ROUTE AREA
This is a driving-based position.
Route Assistants travel between residential properties while completing the assigned route.
Service areas may include:
Newport Beach
Corona Del Mar
Newport Coast
Costa Mesa
Huntington Beach
Irvine
Tustin
Mission Viejo
Laguna Niguel
San Juan Capistrano
Other Orange County communities as routes grow
Routes are planned and organized by Bin Butlers.
Driving between customer homes is a normal and significant part of the position.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Pick up the Company vehicle before the route
Follow an established customer route
Roll trash, recycling, and organic bins to the curb
Follow customer-specific placement and access instructions
Secure gates after accessing customer properties
Snap and send simple photo confirmations
Communicate with management regarding route progress or access issues
Keep the Company vehicle clean and organized
Return the Company vehicle after completing the route
The work itself is straightforward, but accuracy and reliability matter. Customers expect their bins to be placed correctly and serviced every week.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be consistently available on Sundays
Valid driver’s license
Clean driving record
Comfortable driving a Company vehicle throughout Orange County
Smartphone with camera and GPS/navigation
Strong communication skills
Dependable and punctual
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Comfortable working outdoors
Able to repeatedly enter and exit a vehicle throughout the route
Able to repeatedly walk, bend, push, pull, and maneuver residential trash bins
Able to safely maneuver residential bins weighing up to approximately 100 pounds when full
Must maintain a clean and professional appearance
Must wear Company-provided Bin Butlers uniform apparel while performing route duties
Must treat customer homes, vehicles, gates, landscaping, and property with care and respect
