DRIVER / INSTALLER (EVENTS) – WEEKENDS OR FULL-TIME
Event Party Rentals – Escondido, CA
Pay: $21.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience. Career Advancement and Pay Increases with Performance.
Event Party Rentals is looking for dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented Event Installer/Drivers to join our team. We provide rental equipment and setup services for weddings, parties, corporate events, and special events throughout San Diego County.
This is NOT a driving-only position. Team members work together in the warehouse, load and offload trucks, clean and organize rental products, make deliveries and pickups, and assist with event setup and breakdown.
All shifts begin and/or end at our Escondido warehouse.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
DRIVING & DELIVERIES
• Drive company cargo vans and 22–26 ft. box trucks
• Deliver and pick up rental equipment throughout San Diego County
• Follow assigned routes, delivery schedules, and pickup times
• Safely load, strap, secure, and transport rental equipment
• Maintain communication with the operations team while on assigned routes
WAREHOUSE & LOADING
• Load and offload trucks before and after deliveries and pickups
• Pull, stage, count, and organize rental equipment
• Clean and maintain tables, chairs, dance floors, bars, and other rental products
• Inspect equipment for damage or missing items
• Return equipment to the proper warehouse locations
• Keep the warehouse and work areas clean and organized
• Assist team members with general warehouse duties as needed
EVENT SETUP & BREAKDOWN
• Set up and break down tables, chairs, dance floors, lighting, staging, and other rental equipment
• Follow event layouts and supervisor instructions
• Work together as a team to complete setups and breakdowns safely and efficiently
• Load equipment after events and return it to the warehouse
• Maintain a professional and respectful attitude with customers, venues, supervisors, and coworkers
SCHEDULE & SPLIT SHIFTS
This is an event-based position, and schedule flexibility is an important part of the job.
SPLIT SHIFTS ARE A REGULAR PART OF THIS POSITION. Employees may work a morning delivery or event setup, have a break between assignments, and return later in the day or evening for an event breakdown or pickup.
Schedules vary based on event and business needs and may include early mornings, evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
Example:
Morning Shift: 9:00am - 3pm
Night Shift: 9:00pm - 12:00am
PART-TIME AVAILABILITY
• Saturday and Sunday availability is required
• Friday evening availability may also be needed
• Must be available and comfortable working split shifts
FULL-TIME AVAILABILITY
• Flexible availability is required
• Weekend availability is required
• Must be available and comfortable working split shifts
• Early mornings, evenings, and late-night work are part of our event schedule
REQUIREMENTS
• Valid California driver’s license required
• Clean driving record & Clean Background Check required
• 16 - 26' Box truck experience required
• Must be comfortable performing warehouse and physical labor in addition to driving
• Must be able to repeatedly lift and move 50+ lbs.
• Reliable transportation to and from our Escondido warehouse is required
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Must be team-oriented and willing to assist coworkers across driving, warehouse, loading/offloading, and event duties
• Must maintain a professional, respectful, and positive team mentality
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Experience with box trucks, deliveries, moving, logistics, warehouse work, event rentals, or event installation is preferred.
