Hotel Indigo Anaheim is looking for a friendly, professional, and dependable Front Desk Agent to join our team.
Position Summary:
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing excellent guest service while efficiently handling arrivals, departures, reservations, payments, guest requests, and other front-office responsibilities. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, reliable, and able to remain calm and courteous in a fast-paced hotel environment.
Responsibilities:
* Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service.
* Complete check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.
* Handle reservations, room assignments, payments, and guest accounts.
* Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns promptly.
* Follow hotel, IHG, and Front Office procedures and standards.
* Maintain accurate registration cards, guest information, and records.
* Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Management, and other departments.
* Handle cash and credit-card transactions according to hotel procedures.
* Assist with guest packages, Lost & Found, parking, and other front-desk services.
* Promote hotel amenities, restaurant services, and IHG One Rewards.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and professional Front Desk area.
* Complete assigned reports and shift responsibilities.
* Assist the MOD and management team with daily hotel operations as needed.
Qualifications
* Previous hotel or customer-service experience preferred but not required.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Professional appearance and positive attitude.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to multitask and prioritize during busy periods.
* Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel systems.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
